On Saturday, 24th August 2024, Raashidh Matriculation School marked a significant milestone in its history with the celebration of its first Investiture Ceremony. The event was a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership and responsibility, and was graced by the esteemed presence of the School President, Correspondent, and Principal.

This year, the school formed its inaugural Student Council, consisting of the School Pupil Leader, Assistant School Pupil Leader, Senior Sports Captain, Senior Sports Vice Captain, Junior Sports Captain, Junior Sports Vice Captain, House Captains, and Prefects. Each council member was honoured with badges and sashes, symbolizing their new roles and responsibilities within the school community.

The School Principal delivered an inspiring message during the ceremony, sharing a quote from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH):

“When a person is entrusted with a position of responsibility, he should fulfil it sincerely and honestly.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 2750)

She congratulated the newly appointed Student Council members and encouraged them to lead passionately, serve with kindness, and let their actions speak louder than words. The Principal also administered the Investiture Oath to the Student Council, emphasizing the importance of their commitment to the school and their peers.

Adding to the motivational spirit of the event, the School President and Correspondent delivered inspiring speeches. Their words of encouragement resonated with the students, inspiring them to strive for excellence in their new roles. The event was beautifully compered by Ms. Sumaiya Tabassum, Section Head, while Ms. Shahida Fathima, Coordinator, gave the vote of thanks.

The Investiture Ceremony was a proud moment for Raashidh Matriculation School. It marked the beginning of a new chapter with a dedicated Student Council ready to uphold the institution’s values and standards.
