Our school celebrated Muthamizh Vizha on 26th July 2025, a special occasion dedicated to honouring the richness of the Tamil language and culture. The event aimed to encourage students to take pride in their roots and express their love for Tamil through various forms of performance and participation.

We were delighted to have Dr. Hussain, M.A., Ph.D., Assistant Professor at The New College, as our Chief Guest. He delivered an inspiring motivational speech on the importance of education, discipline, and determination. His words encouraged students to stay focused, work hard, and make the most of their school years. He appreciated the spirit of the event and applauded the efforts of both students and teachers in making the programme a success.

The programme featured a lovely mix of student performances – a drama, a skit using different Tamil slangs, speeches, a lively debate, and a cheerful action song. Every performance brought out their creativity and energy. It was heartening to watch them own the stage and enjoy every bit of it.

The event was a beautiful reminder of the value of our language and traditions. Thanks to the efforts of both staff and students, Muthamizh Vizha 2025 turned out to be a joyful and meaningful celebration that will be remembered fondly by all.
